Enegan is an energy partner headquartered in Florence, with a widespread presence across Italy. Its main customer base consists of companies and businesses. To guarantee service continuity and connectivity quality, Enegan operates a complex multi-site telecom network with multi-WAN scenarios and heterogeneous access types. The SD-WAN platform is a critical service component: every new rollout must be fast, controlled and error-proof.
The challenge
Before OptiWize, the Enegan NOC TLC office faced the same structural problems every day:
- High effort from the specialist network team on every multi-WAN rollout: each new site required direct involvement from the most senior network engineers
- Custom configurations site by site, with no shared standard that could replicate the same pattern across different customers
- No version control on configurations: changes were hard to trace, audit, or roll back when something went wrong
- SD-WAN treated as a one-off project, not as a repeatable standard service: every delivery was craftwork, with no predictable timing or quality
